Netties is truly the best restaurant, especially the fish fingers, wings, coleslaw, and the famous catfish sandwich cut in strips — everything was fabulous. The ambience and the staff were wonderful. Latisha is bringing star-level recipes to Rahway, and people are going to love it.
Intimate space with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. They have a prefix brunch menu on Sundays for only $40 a person you get an appetizer entrée and dessert plus drink can’t beat it.
Saw on Facebook my wife & I went to try it out ,& it was all it said it was period. Ms Tee the owner served us all the food was cooked fresh & hot left there one full happy 😊😁 person. This is our new Soul Food Spot John & Kristine.
Awesome, definitely a must have in Rahway. Sweet chili wings were for and the Rasta Pasta. WOW. Definitely coming back and definitely ordering out. Took a to go box as well that’s how much food they gave us.

BEST SOUL FOOD IN JERSEY!! THE RASTA PASTA WAS AMAZINGGG!! My first time coming and definitely won’t be my last! The customer service was also amazing, it’s a family owned business. If you ever want a sweet treat and you like a good homemade lemonade then you MUST try it!
I haven"t had GRITS in over 50 years, but the delightful waitress said, "They have the BEST"! With that I ask for a small taste before I ordered. They good but I have nothing to compare them to. The fish and shrimp were outstanding. I was also given a taste of the lunch special which was mmm mmm good. This was a nice little but cozy location with that down home feeling. I'll be back soon to try more dishes and some Monday night music. This place is MUST TRY!
I celebrated my birthday at Nettie’s in the morning with a group of five, and even though we didn’t have a reservation, they were incredibly kind and accommodating. They made it happen for us without hesitation, which already set the tone for the whole experience. We all ordered different dishes (because that’s what family does), and of course we sampled each other’s plates. Let me just say — that cornbread is absolutely delicious. A must-order. The sweet tea? Perfectly sweet, exactly how sweet tea is supposed to be. The wings were seasoned beautifully and packed with flavor. The yams and mac and cheese were so good — true comfort food. My family ordered the grits and said they were made wonderfully. And my wife is very particular about her grits, so that alone is a testimony. My dad got the salmon salad and loved it. My brother ordered the shrimp and grits and was genuinely eating with joy. I had the sweet potato pie for dessert, and it was rocking. No crumbs left. What made it even more special was that they played music and said my name over the speakers to wish me a happy birthday. It felt personal. It felt warm. It felt like a hug. As a girl from Detroit, spots like this — that serve real, flavorful, comforting food with heart — are something to cherish. Highly recommend.
